Art & Design Or Architecture
I have always been into Art and Design from a form, space, lighting, colour and optical illusion point of view. They were always the designs that intrigues me the most. I come to realise though that Art and Design are quite closely related to Interior Design & Architecture after my years of studying, working, going to exhibition and studying other Designers work. I was taught to design function before form, however looking at modern day designs you can easily start designing through form before function and have knowledgeable colleagues or friends to help you discuss how to make it functionable. By gaining knowledge on how things are put together and fitted on site or as an installation and what materials to use you can make design in form and make the functions work within the form. Sometimes it works according to plan other times there will be cost implacation to the change in design to make it work. My favourite quote of all times and still believe in it " where there is a will there's a way".
